A lion peeking over the cuff. This Columbia stocking uses the Lions mascot from 1997 to 2006, with the lion head leaning over the top of a cuffed stocking with a hanging loop. Light blue, brown and beige give the mane depth, and it has much more personality than the simple block C version, a fun pick for Columbia families.
Where to stitch it: a family stocking, a kid's Christmas pillow, a holiday sweatshirt, or a gift bag for a Columbia student.
Stitching notes: around 30,500 stitches and 8 thread colours. Felt or fleece with a cut-away stabiliser keeps the mane detail neat.
