The detail

Description

This Davidson Wildcats embroidery design places the college's 2023 wildcat head, ears back and fangs bared in red, black and grey, on the side of a white football helmet. It's a sharp tribute to the Wildcats who play at Richardson Stadium just north of Charlotte.

Where to stitch it: Hoodie and sweatshirt fronts, tailgate blankets, kids' tees, duffel bags, cushion covers and gifts for Davidson alumni.

Stitching notes: The helmet shell is a solid fill and the facemask is built from satin bars, so use a firm cut-away stabiliser and stitch at 5 inches or larger to keep the wildcat's face and the bars crisp.
